The figure of the legendary artist enchanted in the sounds

Called the “Black Angel of Polish Song”, Ewa Demarczyk was an extraordinarily talented and charismatic artist. She has made music history for her incredible personality, but above all for her above-average interpretive abilities.

The director Anna Sroka-Hryń, inspired by the character of an outstanding stage personality, created an extraordinary performance “With a hand on the throat. Songs from the repertoire of Ewa Demarczyk”. In this way, a delightful stage dialogue was created, composed of seven different personalities (Malachite, Latrodectus mactans, Wolf, Moth, Gull, Ice and Ariel). The heroes confront each other, making a journey through the corners of the human soul in search of the meaning of life. The main role here is played by emotions, which in the harsh space resound with redoubled force. We invite you to a moving musical performance that will enchant you not only with compositions or poetic texts, but also with sensuality, grace and a dreamlike atmosphere of anxiety and mystery!
