12-year-old Miguel must keep his love of music a secret from those around him because years earlier, his great, great grandfather – a guitar player – abandoned his family for fame and fortune, never to return.
But when Miguel turns to his ancestors for help, he is drawn into the Land of the Dead where nothing is as it seems and he must uncover his family’s secrets before he is stuck there forever.
With intricately rich visuals that scream out for a big screen, Coco is a poignant, emotional journey threaded through with humour and joy.
