Michel Gondry – director of The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (amongst others) – lived in a separate country to his young daughter, Maya, for many years, but to keep their connection strong, he would create animations and films for her based on prompts she gave him. The result was a hilarious journey featuring Maya as the star, using stop motion, paper cut outs and scotch tape – including cat bandits, earthquakes, police chases and more!
Surreal and wonderful, this joyful film is a great chance to introduce your little one to some international cinema and an acclaimed director of Oscar-winning fame.

A gloriously zany and personal film from Michel Gondry told with DIY animation and heaps of charm.
