Family-friendly Ceilidh

Join the RCM Ceilidh Band for an afternoon of joyous group dancing accompanied by live vibrant traditional Scottish and Irish folk!

Made up of current students and alumni, who regularly play folk music alongside their classical studies, the RCM Ceilidh Band will take you through an evening of do-si-doing, promenading, stripping the willow and many more. Each dance will be taught by a caller who you will guide you through the steps.

We welcome families with children of all ages and dancing abilities for this fun and friendly afternoon!

This event will last approximately 2 hours, including two 40-minute sessions with a break in between.
