Fargo

At first glance, a sad tale of a man whose plan goes completely wrong, even in the winter darkness and cold Minnesota — “Siberia of family restaurants,” as the Coen brothers call the state. But 'Fargo' is anything but a sad movie. Some of the best actors deliver some of their best performances in a film where everything unravels into a higher unit: The dialogue, the comedic timing and the local Minnesota dialect make you chuckle gratefully along the way. If you lose track of time, wait until Steve Buscemi's character says “Thirty minutes, and we wrap this thing up” — then there are exactly 30 minutes left in the movie.
