Fatoumata Diawara

EFG London Jazz Festival 2026 + Thanda Choir

Fatoumata Diawara is pure energy, a magnetic force in contemporary African music whose voice carries the joy, pain and power of an entire continent. Singing in her mother tongue, Bambara, she transforms deeply personal stories into universal messages of hope, resilience and freedom.

A fearless storyteller, she confronts subjects like FGM and forced marriage with honesty and courage, turning her lived experience into art that uplifts as much as it challenges. On stage, she’s electric: bold, emotional, playful – able to make audiences laugh, cry and dance within the same breath.

A true icon of modern African music, Diawara’s live performances are moments of blistering intensity and unfiltered expression. Catch her at Roundhouse for an unforgettable night of voice, rhythm and spirit.

Fatoumata Diawara is coming to Roundhouse London on 18th November, 2026 for one of the most unmissable concerts of 2026. Buy official tickets direct for this UK tour date in the heart of Camden. Secure your spot now.
