Faux Real pushes to the limits of reality in VEGA

Faux Real is a duo who, with equal parts humor, attitude and creative excess, have created an extraordinary musical universe, which moves at the intersection of art pop, anti-rock, disco and melancholic synthpop. Here, catchy melodies merge with theatrical staging and unexpected musical twists. Behind the eccentric duo stand the two French-American brothers Elliott and Virgile Arndt.

Faux Real are current with the single “That Far” (2026) and have just announced their upcoming album Poison Time, which will be released on September 4. The release follows on from their debut album Faux Ever (2024), which garnered praise from several international media outlets.

Among other things, The Guardian highlighted Faux Real as a name to keep a watchful eye on, praising the brothers for their mix of offbeat artpop and flamboyant staging, concluding with the words: “Unsurprisingly, they tend to steal the show at any festival they play”

With the album Poison Time, Elliott and Virgile Arndt continue to explore the musical space that has made them one of the most interesting new names on the alternative pop scene.

On November 23, you can experience Faux Real on stage at Ideal Bar. Here, with a combination of boyband-inspired choreography and an unstoppable energy, they will perform a show that is both playful, absurd and hard to take your eyes off.
