Part of “Love is a Verb #2”

In the interactive messenger game “Is this a good time?” From the Berlin collective FEELINGS, the audience plays the main character, chats, moves through video games and makes decisions that change direction.

You're going back to your childhood village. Your deceased grandma's house needs to be cleaned out. Between fields, forests and packed boxes, you report to the city via mobile phone and write with people from the village. Old faces, secrets, and ghosts appear and push forgotten heartbreak and new conflicts to the surface: Where do you give in and where do you put yourself? What do you open again and what do you leave behind?

The duo FEELINGS has been known for their interactive story games since 2017. The starting point is an interest in physicality, identity and situation—often combined with biographical perspectives. FEELINGS develops online and offline performances, audio pieces and games that involve the audience in affective, immersive situations.

The duo already developed the story game “I Saw You Called?” for “Love is a Verb #1” , which also focuses on dealing with relationships from the past in a dialogue. The game is still available in HauTHEK on HAU4.
