Archaeology of lack — guided tour of the exhibition “Prehistory and the Middle Ages of Małopolska”
A tour in which we look at the monuments in their current form: cracked, incomplete and altered by time. The conversation leads to the question of why we consider the earlier, undamaged form to be correct, and what has survived to this day we so often judge as a worse version of it.
The event is intended for individual participants from 16 years old, with special attention to people with special educational needs. It does not require prior knowledge of archaeology. Participants can explore the prepared materials by sight, touch, or both; touching and speaking are voluntary. Original monuments are viewed at the exhibition — materials made available for touching constitute copies or educational aids.
