FESTIVAL OF OPENING/THE HUNT

Theatrical adaptation of the award-winning film “The Hunt” directed by Thomas Vinterberg. The play is presented by one of Europe's most respected theatres, Divadlo Na zábradlí, and is directed by renowned filmmaker Jan Mikulášek.

A moving drama about Lucas, a kindergarten teacher whose life is turned upside down when one of his wards makes a false accusation of sexual harassment. This event becomes the spark that shatters the peace of a small community and shatters the bonds that bind its inhabitants. Lucas is left alone, facing an overwhelming wave of suspicion, fear and judgment.

As events unfold, tension builds, and viewers are faced with difficult questions: how would they themselves behave in Lucas's place? And what would they do if they found themselves in the situation of the kindergarten director, parents or neighbors?

It is a poignant and suspenseful spectacle, full of emotions, unexpected twists and questions that remain in the memory for a long time.
