A new prisoner arrives in a gloomy high-security prison (modeled after the Sukamiskin penitentiary) - journalist Dimas. With him behind bars, an enemy force appears, which in a way as brutal as it is spectacular, deprives the lives of other inmates. By what key does he choose his victims? And can the prison faith stop her before she murders everyone? Joko Anwar confirms his status as a master of horror cinema, but this time operating in lighter registers, he floods the plot with bloody humor and weaves brilliant sequences of martial arts and dance into it.

Behind the laughter and genre fun is a serious social commentary and criticism of a corrupt country, reminiscent of one big prison, ruled by people who can not be trusted. Filmed with virtually no dubbing, the twelfth title in the director's filmography is a breath of freshness within a strongly conventionalized genre — it has incredible energy and fountains surprises at every turn of the prison corridor.
