FESTIVAL MEETING: GOLEM

Teatro del Drago (Italy) — GOLEM

GOLEM

and the mud is the world

GOLEM is a multimedia performance that tells the story of “mud” in a visual and poetic way, presenting it both as matter — fascinating with its creative power and at the same time repulsive and disgusting — and as a poetic idea and emotional metaphor presented through the figure of Golem.

The show also presents mud as a concrete, tangible experience, focusing on the emotions and imaginations of people who experienced the floods in Romania in May 2023 and whose lives were profoundly changed by this substance. The aim of the performance is to make the audience reflect on the relationship between man and nature and the need for creation that exists in both, using the visual and oneiric language of hybrid techniques of animation theater, combined in an innovative way with animated cinema.

Age of recipients: 15+

Performance realized in partnership with ATER Fondazione.
