Ángeles de trapo (Spain) — Lemba

In a world where fame is extremely fleeting and social media is taking over the lives of celebrities, an influencer losing popularity decides to buy a chimpanzee and use it in his videos to gain money and new followers. This is how Lemba appears — a young chimpanzee, cut off from her family and jungle home to become a pawn in the world of online entertainment.

Lemba, the heroine of this moving story, is not going to give up or come to terms with her fate. Determined to change her life, she embarks on a perilous journey to free herself from captivity and find a safe haven, away from poaching, deforestation and the illegal trade of animals — a place where she can start all over again and finally find happiness.
