Secrets of chamber music: brass quintet

Ancient megaphones, or ancient wind instruments whose construction and sound were perfected over the centuries, eventually found a place on concert stages as a so-called sheet metal. During the concert for little music lovers, the golden sounds of trumpet, trombone, horn and tuba will sound. We will consider together what are the similarities and differences between the instruments of this family and how to extract sound from them. The brass quintet is a chamber ensemble especially loved by listeners, with great sound and expressive possibilities. In order to show its qualities, we have included compositions in different styles and with a diverse cast.

About the series “Encounters with Music”

The National Philharmonic has been conducting a series of educational concerts for years, which are now also available for preschoolers and pupils of grades 0-3 at the House of Culture in Piaseczno.

Once a month, from September to June, the youngest listeners will have the opportunity to discover the world of music — learning about different instruments, styles and genres, listening to songs from different eras, as well as watching musicians and dancers live. The meetings are led by experienced speakers who tell about music in an interesting and age-appropriate manner.

There will be three concerts every day — at 10:00, 11:00. The concert at 12:00 has the character of a sensory-friendly event, so it is adapted to the needs of people sensitive to stimuli.

The concerts are intimate, lasting about 45 minutes and give the opportunity not only to learn, but also to experience a real artistic adventure.
