Film in the Pegasus cinema: “The Mermaid of Picasso”

“Picasso's Mermaid” is a film about the great need for close and sincere relationships between people who can be together regardless of age difference, different experiences and needs. It is a film about the ambiguous impact of art, which, depending on who comes into contact with it, can be inspiration or incapacitation, blessing or destiny, life's signpost or dead end.

Mary, a young woman, accidentally discovers the Mermaid drawn on the wall of her small apartment in Warsaw. It turns out that it was drawn by Pablo Picasso during a visit to the capital in 1948! Mary is delighted - not everyone has the original Picasso on the wall in the apartment. However, she does not realize that the Mermaid will turn her life on its head! Behind the wall lives Radomski, an elderly man who remembers Picasso's visit. The discovery of the Mermaid does not please him at all.
