Movie Tales: A Fairy Tale on the Cover

During the class, participants will move to unusual, most famous Polish animations to discover how image and word together create iconic stories. Participants will get to know the most famous film characters from Bear Ushatek, through Rexy, to Plastusia, and then take on the role of young designers and illustrators. Their task will be to create their own cover of a book about the adventures of the chosen character or favorite screen duo. The workshops develop imagination, artistic sensitivity and creativity, and at the same time encourage to reach for the classics of Polish literature and animation for children in a completely new, creative way.

The workshop is accompanied by a visit to the exhibition Palace full of fairy tales.
