Written and directed by Oscar® winner Taika Waitti (“Jojo Rabbit”).

This is the story of Clara (Jenna Ortega), a solar-powered robot created to support and accompany people in their daily lives.

When Clara meets Josie (Mia Tharia), each of them immediately senses a kindred soul in the other. Josie has a difficult relationship with her mother (Amy Adams), and it is Clara who begins to heal the family and bring light to Josie's complicated world.

“Clara and the Sun” is a hopeful story about friendship at a time when technology is making us feel more and more lonely.
