The final of the J.E. Jurkowski Guitar Competition

The audience will have the opportunity to hear as many as six performances of guitar concerts, in which the soloists will be the finalists of the J.E. Jurkowski International Guitar Competition.

The final stage of the prestigious Competition will be held with the participation of the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy under the baton of maestro Justyna Kwarcińska. The audience will have the opportunity to hear as many as six performances of guitar concerts, in which the soloists will be the finalists of the J.E. Jurkowski International Guitar Competition. There will be two works in the repertoire: the audience's beloved Concierto de Aranjuez, by Joaquín Rodrigo, and the optimistic and energetic Concerto No. 1 in D major, Op. 99, composed by Maria Castelnuovo-Tedesca.

This extraordinary event, during which young musicians will have the opportunity to perform a piece accompanied by an orchestra of such great worldwide renown, underlines the role of the competition as one of the most important international guitar competitions, attracting young talents from all over the world.
