Closing of the exhibition “Love”
These are the last days to visit the exhibition Love in the Former Palace of the Bishops of Krakow.
Love, one of the most important and universal human experiences, has also been one of the most important heroines of art for centuries. It takes on different faces: from divine and maternal love, through the affection between two people, to the love shown through mythology, the Bible, literature, allegories, symbols and genre scenes.
The exhibition, whose core is painting, complemented by sculpture and artistic crafts, invites you to wander through different eras and ways of depicting this extraordinary feeling.
On October 18, the exhibition will be finalized in the form of a curatorial tour, which will be led by the curator of the exhibition, Joanna Kaczmarczyk.
It will be the last opportunity to see the exhibition and get to know it from the perspective of its curator, as well as to once again immerse yourself in the world where art tells about what is close to each of us.
