A black comedy about the modern “rat race” and a world ruled by a soulless System. Adam is an average middle-aged man. Honest, reliable, loyal, serial employee of a large corporation. One of the many small cogs in the machine. When a wave of layoffs begins with a change in the company's management, he is convinced that he, too, will soon have to pack his bags. But unexpectedly, he is invited to a weekend integration trip. The company wants to thank him, which sounds like a promise, but also like a threat. Is this the last gift before giving notice of the contract? Or maybe his many years of reliable work has finally been noticed and the coveted promotion awaits him? It all depends on whether Adam finally fights for himself or whether he can simply be ground and served as an appetizer at the banquet of the new board.

“I think the victory of this art is that every human being can recognize his life at certain moments. We live in the so-called developed countries, all people know the problems of existence, necessity, work. We know that it is not easy about her and it seems to me that it is close to all of us in some way. We show something maybe in the form of witty, sarcastic, maybe black comedy, but still we are talking about a man.”

— Marek Gierszał, excerpt from an interview for Gazeta Wyborcza.
