If you are interested in the world of art, want to know the most important directions, surprising works and their creators, then we have a great proposal for you: FLASHCARDS FROM THE HISTORY OF ART. This is a series of meetings for young people interested in art and people preparing for the baccalaureate or other exams.
Classes will be held on October 20 at 17:00 in a temporary location: HALA URANIA — al. Marsz. J. Piłsudski 44.
We invite you to dynamic mini-lectures that organize knowledge in an accessible way. Without an excess of theory, but with clear examples, historical context and the most important concepts. Classes are short and focus on key issues.
Bring a notebook and pen to write down the most important information and create your own flashcards.
The next meeting will be entitled: Corks, Kurosi and Gods — Sculpture of Ancient Greece — During the class you will discover how Greek sculptors went from static representations of the Archaic period to the full dramaturgy and realism movement of the Hellenistic era.
