Flapjax | Splat! FilmFest

Arrow Bentley, the manager of the network fast food, is ordered to reintroduce the legendary flapjax for sale. As his mother becomes addicted to the delicacy, Arrow discovers that there is something far more sinister behind its popularity. “Flapjax” is a crazy combination of horror, comedy and science fiction, full of absurd ideas and redrawn characters. Corporate satire is mixed here with a cosmic conspiracy, and toxic food becomes a tool of invasion. The film entertains with black humor, grotesque and nasty, realistic characterization, while not losing sympathy for its eccentric characters. One of the supporting roles features Lloyd Kaufman, the legendary founder of the Troma label and an icon of B-class cinema.
