Fly Anakin
Fly Anakin is a rapper and producer from Richmond, Virginia, who tackles his craft in a way few of his contemporary rappers can match. The Mutant Academy co-founder has been described by Madlib as “one of the illest MCs” and is known for his sharp lyrics, his ear for soulful production and his particular ability to create strong collaborations.

As a student of East Coast hip hop's golden age, Anakin translates its spirit into music that is both classically based and innovative. He has worked with names such as Freddie Gibbs, redveil, BbyMutha and MAVI. With a debut album with Mutant Academy and the album '(The) Forever Dream' (Executive produced by Quelle Chris), Fly Anakin has cemented his position as one of the leading figures in rap's underground renaissance.

Quelle Chris
The unconventional and hard to categorize producer/lyricist Quelle Chris has created works across multiple genres, including punk rock, poetry, abstract soul as well as instrumental and vocal hip hop. As a beatmaker, he often prefers lo-fi productions and offbeat samples, while his rap style is relaxed and effortless, yet at the same time pensive and introspective. Armed with a dark, self-ironic humor, he makes fun of himself while addressing serious personal topics and societal problems.

Their joint album
Their collaboration on '(The) Forever Dream' marks the beginning of a new era of artistic freedom for Anakin, who rarely goes to a unified work without having established the concept beforehand. The album features cast members such as Denmark Vessey, The Alchemist, BbyMutha and Pink Siifu. It features songs that Anakin himself considers some of his most experimental and ambitious to date.

The project landed after several years in which Anakin and Quelle have built up a close collaboration, which can be traced back to 2019. “Quelle is one of the best collaborators ever -- he's not biased but knows what he likes; open to new ideas but stubborn at the right times,” Anakin says of his creative collaboration with the Grammy-nominated producer.

Now they are bringing their collaboration all the way to Copenhagen at RUST!
