Fly Me to the Moon

“Fly Me to the Moon” by Marie Jones is a modern crime comedy. In it, the Irish author talks about “big” dreams and small lies, about the necessity and consequences of making choices in a world where success and money seem to set ethical standards. In this art full of absurdities, twists and brilliant dialogues, under an entertaining plot lie important and topical questions about the condition of modern European societies.

In our adaptation we move from Belfast to Poland. Tired of everyday life, the heroines work as social workers. It seems that in their world there is no room for spectacular and abrupt changes - their lives go on at their own slow pace. One day this routine is interrupted by an unusual situation. This sudden event opens up surprising opportunities for women and exposes them to temptations that are difficult to overcome.

The license for the performance of the work was issued by the Agency of Drama and Theater ADiT
