Strong food communities
Stop by Vigerslev Library on October 21st to our cozy folk kitchen in a special edition with both a film screening, an art workshop for children and cheap food from the food truck.
Folehavens Maddamer and Tingbjerg Fathers have teamed up to create an evening focused on good developing food communities, which both associations are driven by.
To celebrate the strong local food communities, we invite viewing and subsequent Q&A of the documentary
“Fathers in Tingbjerg”, which shows the origin of the voluntary social-economic enterprise, Café Majroe, which the Tingbjerg Fathers have created in cooperation with the housing social comprehensive plan in Tingbjerg.
Before the film screening and the folk kitchen, children and families can participate in an open art workshop at the library with scenographer Lise Marker.
Programmes
15-17: Art workshop in the cultural zone with artist Lise Marker from — open to all children and their parents
17-18.15: Film screening of “The Fathers of Tingbjerg” and small workshop in the cultural zone
18.15-19: Folk cuisine from the food truck and dining in the library room
Menu: Homemade fresh falafels with hummus and tabbouleh + flatbread + water/soda
Price: 50 DKK for adults, 35 DKK for children
You can pay in cash or by mobilepay on the day
Film screenings and workshops are free and open to all
