Animal farm

Mr. Jones, a homesteader from the Manor Farm, could not have been aware of the revolutionary spirit lurking in the starving animals. Meanwhile, a change in the current order was approaching with great strides. Good change. For the world recovered from the hands of the evil man knows no hunger, fatigue and inequality. Humans — this is the fundamental problem of the animal world. It is enough to get rid of them, and the bright future will come by itself. A future where all are equal and work together to build a better reality. Let us not be fooled by hostile propaganda. Everything is possible here, and the animals are happy.

In his first performance for the Silesian Theater, Jan Klata reaches for one of the most important works of European literature to ask about the universality of the political mechanisms perceived and described by Orwell.

We anticipate the show for viewers from high school age.

The play takes part in the 10th Competition for the Staging of Old Works of Polish and European Literature “Living Classics”.
