William Blake Remixed fuses Blake’s iconic work with captivating spoken word, rap, beatboxing and song from Testament, and spectral music and live soundscapes from pianist Matthew Bourne. Expect a whirlwind mix of beats, song, jazz and poetry.
Bourne and Testament’s previous performances together include opening the Manchester Jazz Festival 2024, and a show at Downing Street and The Royal Exchange Theatre in 2025. The show includes the duo’s versions of Blake’s Tyger, London, Poison Tree, and of course, Jerusalem among others. Whether you’re curious about Blake’s work or a longtime fan – this show is a muse-see!
