Come to a lecture with Danish/Afghan writer Uzma Akbari and learn more about the Afghan poetry form landai, and about the possibilities of literature to create resistance under censorship and social control.
About the author:Uzma Akbari graduated from the Writers' School in 2024 and is a student of Literary Studies at KU. She has experience in translating landai poems and experiments in her writing with the form of poetry.
The presentation will be held in connection with Dansk PEN's #ForbudteBøger campaign 2026, which focuses on censored literature and freedom of expression.
