Lecture: Curator's look at 'Couples Therapy'

About the lecture

Get a special insight into this autumn's big exhibition Couples Therapy when we invite you to an exclusive lecture with the curator of the exhibition Camilla Jalving, deputy director and head of collections and research at SMK.

This autumn, four Danish artist duos — Bank & Rau, Hesselholdt & Mejlvang, J&K/ Janne Schäfer and Kristine Agergaard as well as Randi & Katrine — have entered SMK with a number of spectacular works. Installations, sculptures, video works and performances that focus sharply on power, the welfare state and communities.

Listen as curator Camilla Jalving unfolds the stories, focuses on selected works and gives a unique insight into the duo's practices and what it means to create together. Also join us behind the scenes as Jalving lifts the veil on some of the many thoughts and considerations behind the exhibition that put the community to the brim.
