Formidable books & fabulous movies

Which is better: the book or the movie? The answer this evening is that both are sovereign! The well-known literary and film distributors Mads Bluhm and Dennis Jacob Rosenfeld from Kulturstation Vanløse invite you to an evening of fantastic books and their equally fantastic film adaptations.

We come around both classics, recent works, surprises and personal favorites. We talk about the books, the films and the places where the film adaptation hits the spot — or perhaps even surpasses its literary production.

Look forward to exploring everything from chilling psychological horror and dystopian visions of the future to dark crime stories, quirky social satire and timeless romance. We promise both great emotions, thoughtful narratives and a few surprises along the way.

Above all, we want to give you plenty of inspiration for great experiences. You'll get our top recommendations for books you should read and movies you should watch. We promise they are stories that can entertain, surprise, stir, excite and linger long after the last page or the credits.

So come find your next great book and fabulous movie — and maybe be inspired to experience the same great story both on the book page and on the big screen.
