Music and fairy tales for children and their adults - Musician Andreas Ugorskij (Tikke Takke) and storyteller Hans Laurens (Give a Story) have created hundreds of songs together with primary school children and preschoolers all over Denmark.
This popular course consists of 2 sessions of approximately 60 minutes and a joint end. All three times take place at Solvang Library.
1st meeting on 24 November. We get to know each other - we sing, do singing games and tell stories. After a break, we write a story in dialogue with the children according to the method: creative dialogical narration.
The shared story inspires Andreas to the first lines of a song and a melody. Andreas wails with the children, and together we sketch what will become the class's very own song. The case has gestures so that the children can dance and sing the song.
2nd meeting on 3 December: We retell the story we made last time and the children hear our suggestions for the song's further development. The lyrics of the song are suggestions that can be changed in dialogue with the children. Together we finish the lyrics of the song and make words, rhymes and moves to fit the melody.
3rd meeting on December 10: The children meet with another group of children who have participated in the same course and perform for each other. In the end, Andreas and Hans give a number on the slack line.
When we say goodbye, the children can tell their story and sing their songs to the moves we have developed together.
Andreas plays many of the songs that have been created for the tell, sing, dance workshop - in the band TIKKE TAKKA. Håndspillet kidnejazz, who is currently touring for Levende Musik i Skolen in the sixth year, and plays at Danish jazz festivals and venues.
In addition to music and narration workshops, Tikke Takke & Gi en historie produces concerts, performances, music and book releases, workshops as well as educational material.
