Madagascar has evolved over millions of years in isolation from the rest of the world, which is why it owes its uniqueness — more than 90% of the mammal species living there and most reptiles are found nowhere else on Earth. Unfortunately, many of them are critically endangered today. The exhibition Nature of Madagascar through the eyes of travelers presented at the Museum presents selected images created during the three-month expedition — photos of its animal inhabitants seen in their natural environment, as well as stunning landscapes — majestic baobabs, dense rainforests, spectacular rock formations and picturesque coastlines.
About the event
Magdalena Gumowska and Mariusz Łapiński, creators of the travel project Well Pojechane, have been traveling through unusual corners of the world for years, focusing on wildlife. In expedition plans, their list of animals to see is often longer than the list of sights or cities to visit. They are the authors of gripping adventure reports from numerous escapades.
Admission is free.
