A radically personal evening unfolds between Balkan rage and Berlin snout: loud, vulnerable, funny and highly political. Razor-sharp, this solo performance is directed against shame, adaptation and cultural good conduct. What happens when we don't want to please anymore?

“Pussy slime power” is not a piece. It is a ghettolectual uprising with humor, a survival strategy, a collective cry against shame, adaptation, class, and cultural good conduct.
As the first piece of the festival, pussy slime power sold out immediately. Not because it was good — but because it hit. And perhaps also because, for the first time, without victims' migrant theatre stories, people are being told indignantly about what it means to be a woman with a refugee background. Between Balkan rage, Berlin snout, pop, trauma, body, pleasure and class reality, a radically personal performance unfolds: autofictional, loud, vulnerable, funny and outrageously political.
A piece about Berlin — about origin, fairy tales of advancement, gentrification, precarity, contradiction and life in between.
Pussy slime power reclaims the degraded, the slimy, the grumpy, the uncomfortable. It thinks gheto-lecturally, feels collectively, and transforms powerlessness into power of action.
What happens when we don't want to please anymore? When we tell our stories ourselves — beyond high culture, shame and false class?
“Pussy slime power” is an invitation to team up. Powerful. Evil. It's funny. Unpleasant. From us. For us.
