From Cardboard Book to Folding Book

A wrap sample is a small sketch made in yarn where you play with colors and patterns before knitting or weaving. It is an activity that embodies imagination, experimentation and contemplation. And then it creates presence and tranquility. Author and weaver Astrid Skibsted has turned the wrap sample into an art form and published the book Vikletryvemanifestet with photos of 200 wattle samples. In tonight's workshop we read aloud from the Manifesto and we are inspired to wrap ourselves up. We have all the materials + coffee and tea.
