Freak Show — directed by Łukasz Ronduda, Filip Pawlak, Poland 2026, 75'

What happens when “freaks” take over the stage? A group of young artists with disabilities, invited by the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, is preparing a provocative “freak show” for the opening of the museum's new headquarters. Together, they want to present their own interpretation of the freak show — one that challenges norms, challenges aesthetic canons, and confronts viewers with the loneliness and stigma experienced by the disability community. The premiere takes place on Halloween — the night of taming fear. We accompany the heroes in the process of building community, learn about their motivations and doubts, as well as their aspirations to start an unprecedented movement. Observing those who live with their unique bodies all the time, the film asks a question about the nature of our anxiety. Disability does not have to be a sentence — on the contrary, it can become a space of inclusiveness and universal experience.
