Friday Lates student takeover: London Contemporary Dance School

Students from London Contemporary Dance School present new choreographic work created as part of their Year 2 BA Site-Specific module.

Engaging with the National Gallery’s collection and unfolding across the Roden Centre for Creative Learning, students translate paintings into performance, investigating the relationships between body, object and space. Their performances draw on ideas of object–body dynamics and art historical legacies, offering fresh, critical perspectives on how we move through, and are shaped by, spaces of display, heritage and cultural presence.
