Friða Saiyas is 20 years old and writes, composes, orchestrates and co-produces her own music. The sound universe ranges from large, orchestral arrangements with strings and cinematic heaviness to close and vulnerable productions focusing on the songwriting.
The music stems from Friða's life in Copenhagen, with the Faroe Islands as an inner reference point - while the lyrics are personal and poetic. Friða has already made a name for herself on the Danish live scene as support for, among others, Mille, Soleima and Karoline Funder - and not least as one of the five selected for P3's Next.
