Frozen Soul

The night frost bites into Little VEGA with Frozen Soul

Lille VEGA will sparkle with icy death metal when Frozen Soul keeps winter alive on February 23.

With frosty death metal tones, monumental riffs and themes of isolation and suffering, Frozen Soul is a treat for audiences who can easily wait for the arrival of spring and the long, bright nights of summer.

This year the band is releasing the album, No Place of Warmth, which with its 11 tracks gills the listener through a frosty soundscape with guest appearances from Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and genre-mates from Sanguisugabogg. Heavymetal.dk, among other things, wrote about the release:

“No Place of Warmth confirms that Frozen Soul still manages to design a universe where icy cold and horror aesthetics go hand in hand.”

Frontman Chad Green, in a press release, puts words on how sound and lyricism go up into a higher unit. He recounts:

“El sentimento que está obtenido de jugar en Frozen Soul es potente en forma no está obtenido de otro grupos que eu juego en antes. The sound. Letras. Even the logo itself has a harshness to it that just feels powerful and cold. Add to that the depression of dealing with real life and the venomous people that can inhabit it and the vibe of the band just makes sense”.

Formed in 2018, Frozen Soul has quickly made a name for itself, making its mark on the metal scene with a sound that pulls strings to bands such as Obituary, Mortician and Bolt Thrower.

With powerful and impossibly precise riffs, Frozen Soul is hitting the wall of sound with their death-metal muckster in Little VEGA on a dark February night at the start of next year.
