FØNS

FØNS keeps Denmark under supervision on new tour

With raw energy, presence and a personal hip-hop universe, FØNS invites the audience up close when in 2027 he tours the country with his first major tour Under Supervision.

Behind the name FØNS stands an artist who combines vulnerability with assertiveness and gives Danish hip hop a personal and unfiltered expression. His music moves at the intersection of hip-hop and R&B with tales of hope, doubt, ambition and the expectations that come with life as a youngster today.

With a sharp pen and a raw, reflected sound universe, FØNS directs his gaze to both himself and the world he is a part of. The lyrics revolve around identity, values, relationships and the pursuit of success, but also about everything that cannot be immediately read on the surface.

In 2024, FØNS released the EP Forcatering, which was met with praise from GAFFA. Since then, he has continued to develop his musical universe, where the personal and the vulnerable are allowed to stand side by side with attitude and uncompromising energy.

FONS is interested in the distance between what we see and what is actually going on beneath the surface. We consider each other, form opinions and make judgments on the basis of fractures, while most of each other's inner lives remain unseen. It is precisely in the field of tension that FONS seeks: towards the unsaid, the vulnerable and the unfiltered, without grinding the edges or making reality nicer than it is.

On stage, the contrasts are drawn completely. FØNS' concerts alternate between intensity and presence, raw energy and reflection, creating a space where both the music and the words are allowed to hit.

In 2027, FØNS takes its universe to the country's stages with Under Supervision. A tour that brings the audience quite close to what might otherwise be hard to spot when the facade is allowed to fill.
