FILM MUSIC GALA | Choir | Symphony Orchestra

One scene. Thousands of emotions. The greatest movie stories written in music.

On 24 October 2026, Spodek Katowice will once again become a space for a great symphonic spectacle. The fifth edition of the Film Music Gala will combine the monumental sound of the Silesian Philharmonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra, outstanding voices, light, multimedia and spectacular visuals. All in order to bring back to life the worlds we know from the big screen for one evening.

Under the baton of Maciej Sztor, topics will sound that cannot be confused with any other. We will embark on a space journey to the sounds of Star Wars, feel the momentum of the Gladiator, the mystery and power of the Dune, plunge into the extraordinary world of Interstellar and cross the boundaries of reality with music from Inception. Thrills from The Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games, Sherlock Holmes, Top Gun, Confessions of a Geisha, Prince of Egypt and the final Pirates of the Caribbean adventure will also return.

There will also be themes that are permanently inscribed in the film history of the song. The audience will hear, among others, Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King, No Time to Die from the James Bond film, Everybody Knows from the Justice League and the moving When You Believe from the Prince of Egypt. The vocal parts will be performed by Kasia Cerekwicka and Edyta Krzemień, and the audience will be guided by Magda Miśka-Jackowska through the film and musical journey.

This evening, the Saucer will be filled not only with sounds, but also with images, light and emotions. The power of the orchestra, the monumental sound of the choir and the extensive multimedia setting will make it possible to relive well-known film scenes — more intensely, closer and on a completely different scale.

The 2026 Film Music Gala is a journey through the most spectacular, touching and unforgettable moments of cinema. It was a meeting with music that built tension, added courage to the heroes, accompanied great victories and the greatest emotions.

On October 24, Spodek will once again turn into the largest cinema without a screen - because this time the most important story will take place on the stage.
