House of Halay for queers, lesbians, transpeoples, gays 1° Live: big surprise guest show

People flock to the monthly belly dance beat event in a colorful mix of people.

GAYHANE has long been known beyond the borders of the city and is already being imitated in many major cities. For years, LGBT people and their friends have been meeting on the QueerOriental dance floor, which DJ's Ipek, Mikki_p, Aziza A and Amr Hammer play Turkish, Arabic, Greek and Hebrew pop music. In a mixture of morning and western sounds and temperaments, an atmospheric party develops very quickly, whose flair is underscored by the imaginative transformation of the venue into an oriental party tent.

The dance-making hustle and bustle is interrupted at 1:00 AM due to midnight peaks. Before there is a show performance by a special guest from the program range by a wide variety of artists, it is first important to bring one important issue of the evening closer to the guests: namely not only to enjoy an exhilarating evening, but also to practice solidarity with a wide variety of political and social projects and groups together with our guests.

This integral part of GAYHANE's party concept sees itself as the practiced solidarity of the event team and the entire SO36 collective. When the Halay (Oriental Circle Dance) is played after the show at the disco, huts, lesbians and somehow everyone dance arm in arm so that the atmosphere just cooks and cooks... until early morning...
