If I didn't know you

It all started with the innocent kiss of two kids...

Immersed in despair after the loss of his wife and children, Eduardo falls into a dream (is it really a dream?) , in which he desires to dream, to dream an alternative version of his life. He wants to never meet his beloved Elisa and thus not survive such a painful loss. However, it turns out that no matter what decisions they make, Eduardo and Elisa's paths always intersect — although they can't see it every time.

“If I Didn't Know You” is a story about the unobvious nature of love, it's also a question about what determines our lives — conscious choice, chance, or perhaps destiny.

The play, directed by Jarosław Tumidajski, is the Polish premiere of this text.
