Gdynia — Open Works: guided tour of the exhibition

Shortly after the premiere of the volume of the Monograph of Gdynia entitled Heroiczna. Gdynia during the Second World War, during the tour we will focus on the city and its inhabitants during the period of this conflict. Many of the difficult events of that time, the anniversaries of which we celebrate each autumn, still remain alive in the memory or continue to be passed on to the next generations.

The story of war, however, is also a story of life. We will show the Second War reality against the background of others — the periods of the Second Polish Republic and People's Poland. This will bring closer the picture of everyday life of the unique port city that is already a hundred-year-old Gdynia.

The lecturer will be Dr Marcin Szerle from the MMG Centre for Research in Gdynia.
