Gecko - Ķīn

A timeless exploration of family, belonging and survival.

Acclaimed physical theatre company Gecko returns with Ķīn, a groundbreaking production that captures the humanity of migration and how we hold, reinvent or erase our identities to survive in a foreign land.

We exist both where we’ve come from and where we’re going.

Ķīn is a story of families fleeing, arriving and beginning again, told through Gecko’s trademark style with hypnotising beauty, a global soundtrack and raw emotion.

Drawing on the lived experiences of Gecko’s Artistic Director Amit Lahav and international ensemble, Ķīn asks what we carry with us, what we leave behind and what is the cost of becoming someone new.
