From the fog of the Páramo de Sumapaz to the Chilean rivers to the polluted Guanabara Bay, Juliana Steiner, Gabriela Urrutia, Stephanie Maiwald and Anne Bechstedt follow the water through contested landscapes. They talk about water rights that commodify rivers, about the consequences of fossil industries, and about communities that address this with activism and collective knowledge.
NHé'are circular conversations that invite the exchange of knowledge, experiences and perspectives. The term comes from the Guarani language and describes, among other things, the word, the voice and the language, but also the spirit.
