Grilled fish and sweet potatoes

Grilled fish tastes good to many children, especially if you have fished it yourself, just like the children of the Ye'kwana in Venezuela. They show you how they do it in their movie. Children from Papua New Guinea learn how to start a fire from leaves and roast sweet potatoes. And children from Cameroon show us how to cook their favorite dish: fish in banana leaf with black sauce.

The children learned how to make films in workshops in their home towns. We are showing the short films at the Humboldt Forum in a cinematic experience that allows you to participate in the lives of the children. A presenter will guide you through the afternoon.

We will be showing the films with German voices. Check out the exhibitions on the 2nd floor to see if you can find them.
