Get Out

Chris and Rose have reached the point in their relationship where Chris has to meet her parents, and the young couple visit Rose's parents at their estate in the countryside. From there, the narrative develops into first a thriller, then a shudder and finally pure splatter. And at the same time, the issue of race is constantly lurking as a more serious matter under Jordan Peele's fanatical genre play. The result is alternately hilarious and endearingly creepy -- 'Get Out' is a nondescript chameleon of a movie that leaves the viewer with much to think about and discuss.
