Girli enters the era of her third album with renewed vigor and full sincerity. At the beginning of the year, she set a clear goal - to write a record in nine months - and openly documented the process, abandoning the “artificial secrecy” around premieres.

The artist returns to her roots and no longer intends to censor herself. She promises to speak even more clearly about topics that matter to her, such as feminism, queer rights and the growing threat from the far right.

Her new album it's just my opinion (released May 8, 2026) is a cohesive, energetic release inspired by indie sleaze vibe and concert intensity. The first single “Better Undressed” is a “funny-sad” story about getting back into a relationship after a breakup, and the track “Slap on the Wrist” touches on violence against women and impunity for perpetrators.

Girli - aka Milly Toomey - stands out from the beginning for her uncompromising approach and personal perspective. The new album will not lack more intimate plots, as in “The Answer”, which tells about the first infatuation and the discovery of one's own identity.
