We invite you to a deep dive into the resonances of rivers that Anna Nacher listened to for almost two decades. From the water flowing from the sky to the earth and the hundreds of variations of tones and sounds of water beyond the Arctic Circle in Sweden's Sápmi, through the voice of the Mississippi: a mighty river that, despite human efforts and policies of radical, colonial extractivism, still remains unsubdued, to the tiny streams and streams of the Carpathians that disappear under dramatic structural conditions, drought as a consequence of the climate disaster.
It is an intimate story about discovering the language of rivers — its texture, its ability to weave stories that bind us to the world. During the concert, the author will use processed and unprocessed field recordings, sounds generated by the sonification of the process of photosynthesis and voice.
