This outstanding composer was also an excellent pianist, which is why he wrote brilliantly for both orchestra and solo piano. During the concert we will hear pieces in which this powerful instrument plays a leading role, and immediately after that we will listen to the most famous passages of the symphony. We will talk about how Beethoven lived and how his contemporaries perceived him. We will also consider what we would like most about him if we met him today.
